The night of the pink mustache

Let me just say this one thing...
Fake mustaches are very uncomfortable...

You might be asking yourselves,"Why would you wear a pink mustache, then?"
Well, why not?
It makes for good, wholesome entertainment when all the girls at a party are sporting fuzzy stick-on mustaches. Pink ones.
I know just used the words "wholesome" and "party" in the same sentence and I realize that kills my main point, but you get the idea. Apparently wearing mustaches at parties is really popular in the US? So we brought it to France :P Or I should say, Suzie did, since she supplied the mustaches.

Caro and Suzie <3

Oh hey there Annie

We held the party at Suzie's apartment. It's nice having parties as houses cause you can actually spend time talking with people and you can invite your close friends so it's much more relaxed. As much as I like going out to the Vieux Port every weekend, I think we are all beginning to sense a need for change. Barberousse holds such great memories for me and my friends ;) So I could never stop loving it. But I am itching to find new cool places to go to. This weekend there's an electro/hip-hop/rap concert at Cours Julien which is like 5 minutes by foot from my apartment. It's only 18 euros so I think I am going to go! Afterwards, maybe we'll stick around Cours Ju, or maybe we'll be too tired to do anything else. But I'm not feeling anxious to go back to Barberousse- only by what now feels like reflex haha. I really want to go somewhere where I can just DANCE. Like, not casual dancing. Like I'm in my own little world and nothing can touch me dancing hahaha. Perhaps we will try Trolleybus, a nightclub we went to one other time early in the year...

I also have to pick a new activity and volunteer service. My volunteer service will be Aremacs, a recycling organization, and volunteering for MP2013, the head of the Capital of European Culture in Marseille this year. As for my activity, I have to find something DIRT cheap cause it turns out I got a little to spendy-happy during Christmas vacation and the first two weeks back at school (okay part of that was due to traveling, which was semi-obligatory.... but I also did do a bit of shopping recently haha). I wanna try dance again, or something musical... But I am also concerned with my schedule. Monday is really my only day I can do anything because during the week I am awwwfully busy...

Also in two weeks my friend Vale, whom I stayed with in Sardegna, is coming- with some of her friends that I met in Guspini and Cagliari- to Marseille during our winter vacation!!! I am soooo excited to see her and her friends and hang out and explore Marseille together :) I'm hoping for good weather!! We will probably go hiking a bit, too..

Anyways. That's the latest news for now..
Bisous,
Katty
